our Story

I’m originally from Minneapolis, MN and happily married to my best friend and high school sweetheart. I graduated college in Florence, Italy and lived most of my young adult life in NYC (Harlem, Brooklyn baby and also Jersey City). I worked in the fashion industry as a designer for over 12 years before I left to be with my kids full time. After some time I kept coming back to dreams I had of being an interior designer and after some fortunate circumstances I had the opportunity to design the interior of a restaurant. Along the way I began creating art pieces and furniture to complement my designs and a love for woodworking was born. Since that time I have gone all in, purchasing equipment to outfit our small shop where we try out new techniques and design ideas learning every step of the way. I loving make each item by hand with care knowing it will be in someone’s home inspiring them in the same way it has me. I’ve been so humbled by the support and love from all of you, and those in the small business and wood working community as I have sought to grow in my skill and offer more of what I love to you.
